The Foundation seeks to advance the boundaries of the orthopaedic dialogue and, thus, we have put these data online in a searchable form because we intend this book to be utilitarian data rather than only historical records, to be permanently updated and in order to allow potential collaborators from the Orthopaedic Surgery field to participate.

That is the reason for the Foundation to offer all orthopaedic surgeons the opportunity of publishing their clinical cases (fractures). Any orthopaedic surgeon may propose the inclusion of several of his own cases, becoming explicity co-autor of the atlas.
